Hello! I am a lecturer in the Department of Sociology, Anthropology and Criminal Justice at Clemson University and a PhD candidate in public sociology at George Mason University. I received my MA in Popular Culture from Bowling Green State University in 2015. My research focuses on popular culture, identity, and everyday life. As a public sociologist, I enjoy working with communities and have experience writing, programming, and creating discussion spaces for publics. I teach courses on a variety of subjects including popular culture and cultural studies, women, gender, and sexuality studies, sociology, and globalization. I formerly served as managing editor of The Sociologist.
